What the Weird Sisters Saw

Recently, I had the pleasure of creating the marketing materials for Idle Muse Theatre Company’s (IMTC) upcoming production, What The Weird Sisters Saw. Here’s a little blurb about the show:

On the eve of Cawdor's rebellion against King Duncan, three young druidesses conjure a vision to discover the Fate of Scotland. As the image of a dark future begins to take shape, the Weird Sisters delve deeper and deeper into the mists, following a trail of bloody deeds to uncover the prophecy of a tyrant's ambition. Something wicked this way comes as Shakespeare's classic story of power and murder unfolds through their eyes in a reimagined tale of murder, dark fantasy, and horror!

This production is a revised, remount for IMTC. What The Weird Sisters Saw was the first IMTC production I saw back in 2009, so I’m delighted that I get to be apart of the remount by designing their graphics.

A motion graphic for What The Weird Sisters Saw.

I loved exploring the different ways to focus on the mystery behind the Sisters and the horror of Macbeth, which lead to this design. Some gray and fog with a pop of color. That orange is just so juicy! I’m really pleased with how these turned out and even more giddy to see the company share the design as they promote the show.

The show opens March 14th at The Edge Off Broadway, so get your tickets soon!
