Weddings:
I started working on weddings in 2008. My friends Elizabeth and Steve were getting married and to ease some of the stress of planning the wedding I offered to make Elizabeth's wedding dress (see the photos below). She was incredibly happy with how it turned out. At her first (and only) fitting she ran around my apartment screaming, "I'm so pretty! I'm so pretty!" Since then I've worked on many other projects for friend's weddings. I collaborated with my friend Melissa to make the Chuppah for her wedding, I took the photos for my friend Katherine's wedding, assembled a playlist for my friends Libby & Rick and recently I finished working on embroidering the veil for my friend Chessa's 2011 wedding (see the Gallery for photos).
I really enjoy weddings and helping create something unique for that special day. My philosophy is your wedding day should celebrate not only you and your future spouse, but your connection to your family and friends.
Sometimes it can be difficult to formulate an idea. You know you want something custom made by hand, but what exactly? Below is a list of some of the items I can create for your wedding. Take a gander:
